The KMS Band’s appearance should represent pride in the Band and yourself. If you have any questions regarding uniforms, please do not hesitate to ask.

Wind Ensemble and Symphonic and Concert Bands

Girls

You may choose any black dress or pants that you wish, with the following requirements:

• Must be all black (no stripes or colors)

• Must have some sleeves (no strapless)

• Length must be between the knees and ankles (no jeans or leggings)

• No low neck lines

• Dark black hose (not sheer)

• Black shoes

If you are not in the correct dress code, you will lose 25 points off your concert test grade. If it happens a second time, you will NOT be allowed to perform on stage.

 

Boys

• Black pants

• Black shoes (no athletic shoes)

• Black socks (no ankle socks)

• Black belt

• Solid black buttoned-down shirt with a collar

• Solid black necktie (shirt and tie can be purchased on your own or through Tuxedo Connections for $34)

Beginner Band

• Black pants (no Capri pants)

• Black shoes (no athletic shoes)
